Myth Buster Monday: The Procedure is Painful and Uncomfortable

It's Monday, so you know what that means...

It's time for another Myth Buster Monday!

This week we'll be addressing the myth that the lash extension procedure is uncomfortable and painful.

WRONG!

Getting lash extensions or a lash lift done is anything but uncomfortable or painful. Unless you don’t like laying on a comfortable bed, with a Tempurpedic pillow underneath your neck, and taking a nap for a couple of hours that is.

If you feel any pain or discomfort at ANY point of the process whether it's at our salon or somewhere else, something is not right and you should alert your stylist right away so they can make adjustments. If the process is being done correctly, you shouldn't feel any pain.

Getting your lashes done takes between 1-3 hours depending on the service and style you’re going with, so we do everything in our power to keep you as comfortable as possible during the appointment. During this time you’ll be laying on your back on one of our comfortable salon beds, resting your head on a very comfortable pillow while being taken care of by one of our amazing stylists (position accommodations can be made for women who are pregnant or need special assistance).

Because it’s important to keep your eyes closed during service, many of our guests end up taking a nap during their service. Our salons provide a comforting and calming experience, leaving you in a relaxed state.

The treatment itself is both safe and pain-free. Whether you do lash extensions where fake lashes are applied to your natural lashes or a lash lift that applies a curl and tint to your natural lashes, each treatment is pleasant.

As you wake up again, your lashes will be transformed and absolutely stunning. You’ll walk out feeling like a whole new person.

*If at any point during your service you’re feeling uncomfortable, let your stylist know so they can adjust the gel pads and your position to increase your comfortability. It is our ultimate goal that each and every guest feels relaxed and comfortable during the entire service.
